花生成奶酪

Passed by a Jollibean stall and decided to get a pancake.

“请给我一个圆的碎花生饼。” ("Please give me one round peanuts pancake.")

I gave her $2, she returned me $1.30 change. The pancake costs $1.20.

“一个多少钱呢?” ("How much is one?") “块二咯。” ("$1.20 lor.") “那你找多了。你找我块三。” ("Then you gave me the wrong change. You gave me $1.30.") “哎哟！他们把五毛钱和一块钱掺在一起了！” ("Aiyoh, they mixed the 50-cent coins and $1 coins together!") She took the $1 coin from me and passed me back a 50-cent coin. I walked out of the shop, took a bite of the pancake. Eh??? Went back to the shop, showing her the half bitten pancake. “我要碎花生，为什么变成 cheese 了?” ("I asked for peanuts. How come it became cheese?") “哎哟！他们把花生和 cheese 掺在一起了！” ("Aiyoh, they mixed the peanuts and cheese pancakes together!") 哇，“他们”是谁呢? 我在想。 (Wah, who is the "they"? I thought to myself.) “没问题，不过你们要重新分开放好，要不然下一位顾客又拿到错的饼了。” ("It's alright. But you need to sort them out, otherwise the next customer will get the wrong pancake.") 脑海里立刻冒出一首打油诗，结果当场笑了出来。 (Quickly composed a poem in my head, and couldn't resist laughing.) 找钱头一遭 一块伴五毛 车轮饼一咬 花生成奶酪 3 August 2016
